OBITUARY: 

Mrs Camilla Colbath Lott, daughter of early Salem pioneers Mr and Mrs E.J. Colbath, died Tuesday at a nursing home here. She was 87 and the last survivor of the couple’s seven children. Mrs Lott’s parents came by ship to Oregon and settled in Salem in the 1850’s. Their home was on Mill Creek near 17th and Center. Her brother Ben Colbath was a long-time sheriff of Marion County in the early 1900’s. Mrs Lott was born in Salem and spent her entire life here. Survivors include a nephew, Ben Colbath, a Salem realtor. Services are pending at Howell-Edwards mortuary.
