OBITUARY:

INFANT DIES SUDDENLY - John, the 3-months-old- son of Rev. and Mrs. W. B. Magnan, of St. Paul's Episcopal church, died very suddenly about 8 o'clock this monring at the parsonage on Church street near Chemeketa. Mrs. Magnan had just given the infant its breakfast and place him on a bed whild she gave her attention to other things about the home. returning after an absense of only a few moments, the mother was almost distracted to find the lifeless form of her child. Heart failure is attributed as the cause of the very unexpected death. The child was exceptionally strong and had always enjoyed the best of health. Rev. Cannon Lloyd, of Seattle, a brother of Mrs. Magnan, has been notified of the death and will probably reach Salem tonight or Sunday morning. Funeral service will be held from the parsonage on Sunday.
