Charles W. Marden died July 25 at the home on route one, Brooks, at the age of 72 years. Survived by his widow, Mrs. Charles W. Marden. Notice of funeral later by W. T. Rigdon and Sons. Oregon Statesman 27 July 1932 5:2 Near Hopmere, July 25, Charles W. Marden, aged 72 years. Survived by widow, Mrs. Lenora A. Marden; sister, Grace M. Bean of Penacock, N. H. Funeral services Thursday, July 28, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of W. T. Rigdon and Son. Interment I.O.O.F. cemetery.
