OBITUARY:
Word was received in Salem today of the death of Edward McAfee, of Oregon City. Mr. McAfee was well known in Salem. Thirty years ago he was proprietor of a local drug store.

W. Edward McAfee, a pioneer resident of Salem, died Monday, Feb. 4 at his home in Oregon City. The body will arrive here Wednesday morning.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. from the Rigdon funeral parlors with the Masonic lodge No. 50 in charge.

Former Resident Dead.
Edward McAfee, former Salem resident died in Oregon City Monday, according to word received in the city yesterday. Mr. McAfee was the proprietor of a drug store here about 30 years ago.
