1900 OR CENSUS - Lizzie E. McClane, age 31, b. Nov 1868 in Iowa, is enumerated with husband James McClane, age 35, b. Sep 1864 in Oregon, along with Robert Crego, identified as father-in-law [of James] age 85, widowed, b. Mar 1815 in New York.
DISCREPANCY - birthplace is given as Wisconsin in 1870 and 1880 - but as Iowa in 1900.

OBITUARY: 
AMITY - Graveside services for Lizzie McClane, 91, resident of Amity for the past 15 years, who died in a local nursing home Sunday, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pioneer Cemetery in Salem. Scott's Funeral HOme at McMinnville is directing arrangements.
She was born in Wisconsin. After her marriage to James McClane at Salem in 1900, she lived in Salem, Sheridan and Amity. He died in 1942.
Only survivor is a niece, Mrs. Elma Henry of Sheridan.
