OSBH DC (Linn County 1907) #3285 - William Hamilton McCully, male widowed, occupation flour mills, d. 20 Jan 1907 at the age of 76 years, interment 22 Jan, informant J. N. Coshow of Brownsville, Oregon.

Remains laid to rest (William H. McCully).
William Hamilton McCully death recorded. For some years, he had made his home in Brownsville, OR, but had lived in Salem for many years previous. He was 77 years old when he died.

William Hamilton McCully
William Hamilton McCully died in Brownsville, OR, at the home of his dau. Mrs. James Coshow, 20 Jan 1907, age 77. He was b. OH 2 Dec 1829; married Margaret Cannon fall 1856, had a son and 2 daughters; lived first in Harrisburg, OR, then to Independence, OR, for two years where he engaged in merchandising. Then lived in Salem a number of years. In 1877 came to Brownsville where he and John Waters operated the flouring mill. In 1883 went to Joseph, OR, and ran their first flouring mill. The mill burned, and he returned to Brownsville.
He had long suffered following a paralytic stroke, but the immediate cause of death was pneumonia.
