DEATH CERTIFICATE:

OBITUARY: At the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jas. G. Rennie, in South Salem, on the morning of Sunday, April 20, 1890, of paralysis, David McFadden, Sr., aged 79 years.
The deceased had resided in Oregon twenty-four years, having come to Salem from Ontario, Canada, in 1866. He was born in Enniskillen, Ireland, and after coming to America lived for some years at London, Ontario.
Mr. McFadden was a member of the M. E. church before coming to and during his residence here was a regular attendant of that church. He was a Christian man, and as such was honored and respected by his fellowman. His illness was of but two weeksÂ’ duration, he having been stricken April 5th with paralysis, from which he never recovered. He leaves to mourn his death four children; Mrs. Jas. Rennie, of South Salem; Mr. David McFadden, Mrs. Z. Craven, of Salem; Mrs. A. Irvine, of Murray, Idaho.
