OBITUARY: 

William H. Merry, late resident of 3422 SE Alder street in Portland, at a local hospital Saturday, September 26, at the age of 78 years. Survived by son, R. E. Merry of Lewistown, Mont.; and two grandchildren in Iowa. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 30, at 10:30 a.m., in the IOOF cemetery, direction of Clough-Barrick company. Rev. Dudley Strain officiating.
