OBITUARY: 
At his home at No. 57 Chemeketa street, Monday, December 23, 1901, at 7:05 o'clock a.m., Mr. Charles Myers, aged 44 years, of lung trouble. 
Deceased came to Oregon over a year ago from Salt Lake City, Utah, and has been engaged as engineer at the Steusloff Bros.' meat market in this city. 
He has been suffering with his complaint for some time and during the past ten months has been growing from bad to worse, until about three weeks ago he was obliged to give up his work and took to his bed. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias lodge of Salt Lake City. The funeral will be held from Rigdon & Clough's undertaking parlors at 2 p.m. today and interment will probably be made in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
