OBITUARY: 
At the residence, 570 North Winter street, Monday, July 14, Mrs. Rachel Miller, age 80 years, beloved mother of Mrs. Bessie Slawson of Salem, W. J. Williams of Eugene, Mrs. James Angell of Snoqualmie Falls, Wash., and Mrs. Fred Lawton of Albion, Wis. Also survived by three grand children and four great grand children and one nephew, W. F. Pickel of Decatur, Ill. Announcement of funeral later from the Rigdon mortuary. Mrs. Miller has been a resident of Salem for about 35 years.
