Nov 1870 in Iowa, and his wife of 7 years Lottie, age 25, b. Mar 1875 in Indiana, along with Chester, age 5, b. Sep 1894 in Oregon, and Blanche, age 3, b. Sep 1896 in Oregon.

OBITUARY: At 723 Union street, Salem, Oregon. December 25, 1911, Miss Sarah J. Moffitt, aged 76 years, three months and 28 days. Deceased was born in Utica, Oneida county, New York, August 27, 1835.
She was the mother of six children, three of whom are living. A. T. Moffitt, Mrs. V. A. Alderman and N. I. Moffitt, all of Salem. Her maiden name was Sarah J. Lake. She was married in 1863 to T. Moffitt and resided in Whiteside county, Illinois, and Mitchell county, Kansas before removing to Oregon in 1888.
The funeral will be held today at W. T. Rigdon’s chapel at 2 p. m., conducted by the Rev. P. S. Knight, and interment will be made in I. O. O. F. cemetery.
