OBITUARY:
MOTHORN -- At the family home, south of Salem, near the Pringle school house, at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 1892, from la grippe, Mrs. George Mothorn, aged 67 years. Deceased has been ill but a few weeks. Mr. Mothorn is dangerously ill from the same complaint and his recovery is in doubt. Their son, George, is also quite ill, and their son-in-law, Jas. Robinson, who lives south of the Mothorn home. Mrs. Jacob Staley, of Salem, is a daughter of Mrs. Mothorn. The funeral will be conducted from the residence at 10 a.m. today. The burial will be in the Rural cemetery.
