NOTE: Monroe Nye was married to Alice Rebecca Wagner, a daughter of Isaac Madsen Wagner and Catherine Swartslander Adams, who are buried in lot 676 of this cemetery. The unnamed Nye buried in lot 676 is likely to be Alice Rebecca Nye. The unnamed Nye is reported to have been buried in Nov. 1925.

OBITUARY: 
At the residence, 1500 Ferry street, July 20, Mrs. Alice R. Nye, a resident of Jefferson, age 67 years. She is a sister of Phillip Wagner of Estacada, A. P. and J. A. Wagner of Tidewater, I. N. Wagner of Laurel, Ore., Mrs. Esther Neal of Monmouth, Mrs. N. E. Ward of Waldport, Mrs. C. E. Bruce of Portland, and Mrs. D. F. German of Oregon City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, from the Rigdon and Som mortuary. Interment is in IOOF cemetery. Oregon Statesman 31 Jul 1925 5:5
