OBITUARY:
PAINTER -- 64 died late yesterday at the home on the river road. Survived by a brother, Robert of Walla Walla, and two sisters, Mrs. Octavia Nolan and Miss Zulette Painter of Salem; also a niece and nephew, Mildred and Joe P. Painter of Salem. Funeral services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, from the Clough-Taylor funeral parlors. Interment IOOF cemetery.
