OBITUARY: 
Henry Palmer, 84, Succumbs
Rites Tuesday. 
Henry Palmer, 84, and a Salem area resident for 82 years, died early Saturday at a Salem hospital. His Oregon pioneer parents brought him as a baby from Minnesota, in 1868. He spent most of his life farming near Salem, Lake Labish and Howell Prairie. At the time of his death he was retired and living with a son, Henry DeLoss Palmer, 260 S. 23rd st. Also surviving are the widow, living in San Francisco, a daughter, Mrs. Elois Meyers, San Francisco, and three grandchildren. 
Funeral services are being arranged for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at W. T. Rigdon chapel. The Rev. John T. O’Callaghan of St. Joseph’s Catholic church, will officiate.
