OBITUARY: 

PEARCE - At his home, No. 1391 Broadway, on Monday, January 21, 1907, at 11:30 p.m., Charles Pearce, aged 66.
He was among the pioneers who settled near Salem in the '60's, and was well and favorably known in this city. He has been failing in health for several years, and his sudden death was due to heart failure. The funeral notice will appear later.
