OBITUARY: 

At the residence, 360 East Meyers street, Friday, March 31, William A. Penney, aged 74 years. Survived by widow, Sarah Penney of Salem; two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Walcher of Salem, Mrs. Della Ellison of Portland, sister, Mrs. Clara Woodruff of Denver, Colo.; four grandchildren, Mrs. Helen Stevenson of Flint, Mich., Perry Walcher of Eugene, George and Viola Ellison of Portland; great-grandchild, Wesley Stevenson of Flint. Services will be held from the chapel of Clough-Barrick company Monday, April 3 at 3 p.m., Interment I.O.O.F. cemetery. Officiating minister, Rev. Guy Drill of First Christian church.
