OBITUARY:
McClellan Hayden died at his residence, corner Fourteenth and Marion September 1, at the age of 61 years. He is survived by his widow, Helen, brother William of Salem, two nephews, Miller Hayden of Bandon, Ore., and Ben Maxwell of Salem. Funeral services will be held at the Webb Funeral Parlors Thursday, Sept. 3 at 2 p.m. Rev. J. J. Evans and the Spanish-American War Veterans will have charge of the services. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery.

McClellan Hayden
SALEM, Or., _(Special)- McClellan Hayden, 61, one of the early-day lawyers in this section of the state, died at his home here last night. He is survived by his widow, Helen Hayden, a brother, William Hayden and two nephews, Miller Hayden of Bandon, and Ben Maxwell of Salem. Funeral services will be held tomorrow, under the direction of the Spanish-American war veterans, with Rev. J. J. Evans preaching the funeral sermon.
