OBITUARY: 

William H. Pearce died at a local hospital Sept. 30, 1924, at the agte of 57 years. Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edith Tyler, of Goble, Ore.; two brothers, Ed Pearce and Lewis Pearce of Kenniwick, Wash. And a sister, Mrs. Nora E. Busey of Salem. Deceased was a member of the Woodmen of the World and Knights of Pythias lodges. Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, at 3 p.m. from the Rigdon mortuary under the auspices of the Knights of Pythias. Oregon Statesman 1 October 1924 5:3
