OBITUARY: 
Mrs. Elizabeth M. Pound, at the residence, 679 North 20th, April 21 at the age of 81 years. Survived by five daughters, Mrs. Lottie Pound Gilbert of Gresham, Ore., Mrs. Minerva Holcomb and Mrs. Ruby Wilson, both of Salem, Mrs. Jennette B. Wood of Vancouver, Wash., and Mrs. Flora Dressler of Mankato, Kans.; son, Dr. B. F. Pound of Salem; brother, W. K. Winslow of Aumsville. Eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive. Services will be held Monday, April 24, at 3:30 p.m. from the Clough-Barrick chapel. Interment IOOF cemetery.

Elizabeth Pound Called by Death. 
Mrs. Elizabeth M. Pound, resident of Salem and Marion county for 48 years, died last night at the residence, 679 North 20th street. She was 81 years of age. Surviving are six children, including Dr. B. F. Pound, Salem dentist, Mrs. Minerva Holcomb and Mrs. Ruby Wilson, all of Salem, and one brother, W. K. Winslow of Aumsville. Funeral services were set for Monday afternoon at 3:30 oÂ’clock at the Clough-Barrick company chapel, with interment to be in the IOOF cemetery. 
Elizabeth Winslow was born March 2, 1858, at Pontiac, Ill. She went with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Avery Winslow, to Kansas when she was 15 years of age and was married there to Frank L. Pound February 8, 1874. In 1891 they came to Oregon, settling on a small farm near Aumsville, and in 1913 made their home in Salem. 
Mrs. Pound was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and was interested in WomanÂ’s Relief corps and WCTU activities.

SALEM, APril 25 (Special) - Funeral services were held at Clough-Barrick parlors here Monday for Mrs. Elizabeth Pound, 81, who died Aprial 21 at her residence, 679 North Twentieth street. Interment was in Odd Fellows cemetery. The widow of Frank L. Pound, whom she married in Jewell City Kan., February 8, 1875,  Mrs. Pound had lived in Marion county for 48 years. Mrs. Pound was born Elizabeth M. Winslow in Ottaway, Ill., March 2, 1858, and came to Oregon with her husband in 1891, settling on a farm near Aumsville. They moved to Salem in 1913. Mrs Pound was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, Women's Relief corps and W. C. T. U.
She leaves five daughters, Mrs. Lottie Pound Gilbert of Gresham, Mrs. Minerva P. Holcomb and Mrs. Ruby Wilson of Salem, Mrs. Jeannette V. Wood of Vancouver, Wash., and Mrs. Flora B. Dressler of Mankato, Kan.; a son, Dr. Benjamin F. Pound of Salem; brother W. K. Winslow of Aumsville; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
