OSBH DC (Marion County 1908) #5999 - Lenora Prouty, female, widow, b. Vermont, d. 17 Feb 1908 about 16 miles NE of Salem at age 87, name of father Sykes (b. Massachusetts), interment 19 Feb 1908 IOOF, undertaker - A. M. Clough.
OBITUARY: 

PROUTTY - At the home of her son-in-law, Charles Long, near Silverton, February 17, 1908, Mrs.Levinora M. Proutty, aged 87 years, 4 months and 7 days.
The deceased has been a resident of Salem for 20 years. She was born at Ruperts, Vermont, October 9, 1820, and upon leaving that city came directly to Salem. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles Long, of Silverton, and a sister, living in Illinois.
The funeral will be held in this city Wednesday, February 19, at 10 a.m.
