1880 OR CENSUS - Rosa E. Creighton, age 1, b. Oregon, is enumerated with John Creighton, age 44, occupation farmer, b. Scotland, and Mary, age 35, b. Iowa, along with Mary P., age 9, Jessie M., age 8, and Mable, age 6, all born in Oregon. Also enumerated with the family is a boarder, Albert E. Faulkner, age 27, occupation stock farmer, b. New York.
Rose Estelle Creighton married Clyde Raabe in Salem on March 30th, 1899.

Mrs. Rose Creighton Raabe Succumbed after an Illness of Three Months. Funeral Tomorrow.
Mrs. Rose Estelle Creighton Raabe, wife of Captain Clyde Raabe, of Portland, died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mary J. Creighton, at No. 557 Front street, Salem, Oregon, at 11:20 p. m., yesterday, after an illness of three months, the direct cause of death being an abscess on the brain.
Deceased was born at Union, Union county, Oregon, December 28, 1878, and lived in Salem the greater part of her life. About two years ago she became the happy bride of Captain Clyde Raabe, of Portland, and the young couple resided in that city, until Mrs. Raabe's illness three months ago, when she was brought to her mother's home. The best of attention was given her, but she slowly declined, until she passed away, as indicated above.
Deceased leaves, besides her husband, her mother, Mrs. M. J. Creighton, and three sisters, Mrs. W. H. Dancy, and the Misses Jessie and Mabel Creighton, to mourn her untimely demise, all of these being at her bedside when she passed away. She was very popular and highly respected and her demise will be deeply mourned by a large circle of warm and devoted friends. Mrs. Raabe was a member of the First Presbyterian church of this city.
The funeral will be held tomorrow (Monday) at 2 p.m. at the residence of David McCully, No.. 557 Front street. Interment will be had in Rural cemetery.

Raabe At the home of her mother in Salem, Saturday evening, July 14. 1900, Rose Estelle Raabe, wife of Captain Clyde Raabe, of Portland. Deceased was the daughter of Mrs. Mary J. Creighton of this city. She was born at Union, Oregon, Dec.28, 1878, and lived in Salem nearly all her life, and had a large circle of friends here. She was married to Captain Raabe about two years ago and resided in Portland until some three months ago, when she fell ill and was brought to her mother's home in this city. The cause of her death was an abcess on the brain. Besides the husband, deceased is survived by the mother and three sisters, Mrs. W. H. Dancy and the Misses Jessie and Mabel Creighton, of this city. The funeral which was largely attended took place at 2 p m. from the residence, services being conducted by Rev. P. S. Knight, and burial took place in Rural Cemetery.
