OBITUARY: 
REID -- Arthur M. Reid, 79, at the residence, 251 South 17th street, January 11. Survived by widow, Mrs. Flora Reid; two daughters, Mrs. Faye Howe and Mrs. Harry Ertz, both of Portland; son, Dr. Victor M. Reid of Seattle; grandchildren, Miss Betty Jane Howe of Seattle, Miss Lorinda Reid of Seattle, Robert Ertz of Portland; brothers, Ralph Reid, George Reid and Robert Reid, all of Portland; sister, Mrs. Charles Purvine of Salem. Services will be held from the Knight Memorial church Saturday, January 13, at 2:30 p.m., with Dr. H. C. Stover officiating. Interment will be in IOOF cemetery. Services will be in charge of the Clough Barrick company.

FUNERAL SERVICE IS SET SATURDAY.
Funeral services for Arthur M. Reid, 79, who died Thursday morning at his home, 251 South 17th street, will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. from the Knight Memorial church, Rev. H. C. Stover officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at the IOOF cemetery. The Clough - Barrick company is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Reid had been employed with the C. M. Eppley Grocer company for 37 years and before that with the Reineman grocery for 12 years. Mr. Reid was born in 1860, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reid, and came to Oregon at the age of six years. In 1890, he married Miss Flora Goodhue. He was a member of the Congregational church for 60 years.
Survivors are the widow; children, Mrs. Faye Howe and Mrs. Harry Ertz, both of Portland, and Dr. Victor M. Reid of Seattle; grandchildren, Miss Betty Jane Howe and Miss Lorinda Reid, both of Seattle, Robert Ertz of Portland; brothers, Ralph, George and Robert Reid, all of Portland; sister, Mrs. Clarence Purvine of Salem.
