Simon Reust is the son of Samuel (1840 - 1926) and Mary (?) Reust (1843 - 1933) who are buried in City View Cemetery. Mary was first married to Joshua H. Gay (1837 - 1911) who served in WWII in Co. A ILL Inf.

Illinois), interment 27 Apr, undertaker L.E. Barrick, informant Flossie Reust of Salem.

Walter Reust, at his home, 143 Commercial, Sunday, April 22, husband of Mrs. Flossie Reust of Salem; father of Harold Reust of the U.S. Army in France, Walden Reust with the U.S. navy at Alameda, Calif.; James Reust of the U.S. Coast Guard, Mary, Twila Faye, Virginia, Jerry and Robert Reust and Maxine Runner, all of Salem; and brither George Reust and Mrs. Ida Gibson, both of Oklahoma; Joseph Reust of Colorado, Perry Reust of California, Mrs. Max Gill of Monta Rosa, Calif., Miss Jane Reust of Guzman, Okla., and Mrs. Emma Long of Clinton, Mo.  Services will be held Friday, April 27, at the Clough-Barrick chapel. Interment in IOOF cemetery.
