OBITUARY:
SERIOUSLY ILL
On the Fourth of July while the baseball game was in progress one of the players ran against Grant Rickey, the youngest son of T. B. Rickey, of this city, and hurt him, as was supposed at the time, but very slightly; but subsequent events show that he received dangerous internal injuries and now he is lying in a very precarious condition, suffering from the injuries received complicated with typhoid fever. His recovery is considered extremely doubtful, but he is receiving the best of medical attendance.
