OBITUARY:
IOWA MAN DIES NEAR WACONDA
Harry, Auto Tourist, Ready to Return Home, Succumbs Suddenly.
Harry Robinson, formerly of Des Moines, Ia., and who has been at the local auto camp off and on for several weeks, died at the home of friends near Waconda Sunday. With his wife he had at various times camped at the local grounds and while there had become acquainted with a family by the name of Zoulsdorf, according to T. G. Albert, superintendent of the camp grounds. It was at their home that Mr. Robinson died. The Robinsons had started to make the return trip to Iowa but owing to snow in the mountains returned. They have been picking berries in and near Salem since that time. Mr. Robinson was gassed during the war and while in Salem was under the doctor’s care at various times. It is thought that the weak condition of his lungs was partly the cause of his death.
