OBITUARY: 
ROGERS--In Salem Thursday, February 22, 1917, John H. Rogers, at the age of 34 years. He was a native of West Virginia and formerly resided in Pendleton. A brother-in-law, Matthew J. Gifford has has arrived in Salem to take charge of the funeral. Services will be held this morning at 10 o'clock at the chapel of Rigdon & Richardson, conducted by Rev. James Elvin. Burial will be in Odd Fellows cemetery. Oregon Statesman 23 Feb 1917, 5:3.
