OBITUARY: 
At the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Vermehren, 174 South Eighteenth street, Thursday, June 1, 1916, at 6:30 a. m. Mrs. Sarah A. Romane, aged 40 years. She was a native of Texas. Mrs. Romane came to Salem about three weeks ago from Clackamas. 
Besides her husband, she is survived by four grown children and three younger children. The funeral will be held this afternoon from the chapel of Webb & Clough, at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Odd Fellows cemetery.
