DEATH CERTIFICATE:
OBITUARY:

Died - On Monday, May 29th, Mrs. Eliza Russell, wife of Wm. Russell, Esq, of Howell Prairie, in the 32d year of her age.
Sister Russell enbraced religion in 1851 under the ministry of Rev. A. F. Waller, and has maintained a good Christian character up to the close of life. She died in peace, and though desirous (sic) to live on account of her family, was entirely resigned to the will of God. Taken sick in September last, her disease baffled the best medical skill, and terminated in consumption. An affectional husband, and three interesting children, with a large circle of friends, mourn her early removal. But they "sorrow not as those who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."
In the absence of her pastor, funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Crossman, who very appropriately discoursed upon the words, "And God whall wipe away all tears from their eyes."
