OBITUARY:
Savage – Bessie L., 1551 NE 45th; wife of John I.; also survived by several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Services Monday, 10 am, Caldwell’s Colonial Mortuary, Sandy Blvd at 14th, Rose City chapter No 86, OES, participating. Interment 1 pm, Pioneer cemetery, Salem, Ore. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the Masonic & Eastern Star Home Endowment fund, in Forest Grove, Ore.

Funeral for Mrs Bessie I. Savage, 1511 NE 45th Ave, who died Wednesday, will be at 10 am Monday from Caldwell’s Colonial Mortuary. Committal will be in the Pioneer Cemetery, Salem, at 1 pm. Mrs Savage was born June 4, 1880, in Blair, Neb. She moved here about 50 years ago. She was past matron of Rose City Chapter No 86 OES and was a 65-year member. She was second mother advisor for Rose City Assembly No 6 International Order of Rainbow for Girls. The family suggests any remembrance be in the form of a contribution to the Masonic and Eastern Star Home Endowment Fund in Forest Grove. The widower, John I., survives.
