Savage, husband, age 58; Annie M. Johnson, dau. age 21; Effie J. Johnson, dau. Age 20 (she is shown as Effie J. Reid in May of 1903); all of Salem.

OBITUARY:
SAVAGE - At the family home in this city, No. 413 High street, at 8:12 o'clock this morning, Friday December 12, 1902, Mrs. G. O. Savage, aged 61 years, of stomach trouble.
Loretta Elroy Purdy was born in Holmes county, Ohio, May 12, 1841. She lived in Ohio until 1875, when she married Milton Johnson and went to California, where Mr. Johnson died in 1890. In 1898 she was married to O. G. Savage, and removed to Salem, where the family has since resided.
The deceased was an estimable woman and was a lifelong member of the Methodist church. She was taken ill about five weeks ago.
Besides the husband, the deceased is survived by two daughters, Misses Annie and Effie Johnson, both of this city. Funeral services will be conducted at the First Methodist church at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
Rev. John Parsons will officiate and burial will take place in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
