OBITUARY: 
At the home, 340 North 20th street, Earnest Schaffitz died February 29 at the age of 16 years. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. E. Schaffitz, and one brother, Keith, of Salem. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Friday at Rigdon Mortuary with interment in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Oregon Statesman 2 Mar 1928 5:8.
