OBITUARY: 
At the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. C. Sabin of Harrisburg, Thursday, March 4, 1909, Samuel Scott, aged about 90 years, Mr. Scott was an old resident of Salem having been employed by the flour mill company many years and being known by his associates as "Bran" Scott. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. C. Sabin of Harrisburg, with whom he made his home and Mrs. George M. Beeler of Portland. His remains will arrive on the 8:40 train this morning and the funeral will take place from the parlors of A. M. Clough at 10:30, conducted by the Masonic order, assisted by the Rev. P. S. Knight. Interment will be made in the IOOF cemetery.
