OBITUARY: Herman Peter Johnson, late resident of 536 South 17th street, at a local hospital Wednesday, September 1 at the age of 53 years. Brother of Mrs. Mary Thayer of Salem, Mrs. Eva Green and Mrs. Lydia Martin, of San Francisco, and Edwin C. Johnson of Phoenix, Ariz. Also survived by two nieces. Veteran of World war one. Services will be held Saturday, September 4, at 1:30 p.m. at the Clough-Barrick chapel. Interment in Odd Fellows cemetery.
