OBITUARY: 
BUSH -- At the residence, 978 Chemeketa street, Salem, Oregon, Wednesday November 10, Lulu Hughes Bush, age 76 years; wife of A. N. Bush of Salem, grandmother of Asahel Bush of Klamath Falls and Stuart Bush of Salem, and great grandmother of Ann Bush of Klamath Falls; sister of J. F. Hughes of Salem, Mrs. Genevieve Mackie and Mrs. William A. Carter, both of Portland; aunt of William A. Carter, Jr., and John Hughes Carter, both of Portland, Mrs. Stewart Beam of Seattle, Wash., and John Hughes of Salem. 
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 12, at 2 p.m. in the First Methodist Episcopal Church at Salem With Dr. James E. Milligan officiating, assisted by Dr. Carl Gregg Doney of Columbus, Ohio. The committal services will be at Mt. Crest Abbey mausoleum and crematorium in Salem. 
The honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Bruce R. Baxter, Paul B. Wallace, O. E. Price, William S. Walton, Joseph Albert and C. P. Bishop. Acting pallbearers will be George Riches, Henry Compton, Jess Campbell, Jacob Fuhrer, John Brophy and Tom Galloway. The W. T. Rigdon company, funeral directors in Salem, are in charge of arrangements.

Bush Funeral Is Scheduled Today
The funeral service of Mrs. A. N. Bush, native of Salem and one of the capital’s outstanding citizens, will be held at 2 p.m. today from the First Methodist church. Private cremation services at Mt. Crest Abbey mausoleum will follow. Dr. James E. Milligan and Dr. Carl Gregg Doney will officiate at the services which are in charge of the W. T. Rigdon company. 
Mrs. Bush, who passed away early Wednesday morning, was the daughter of John and Emma Pringle Hughes, Salem Pioneers. She is survived by the widower, A. N. Bush, president of the banking firm of Ladd and Bush. Other survivors include a grandson, Asahel Bush of Klamath Falls, sisters, Mrs. J. F. Hughes of Salem and Mrs. Genevieve Mackie and Mrs. William A. Carter, both of Portland, a great-granddaughter, Ann Bush of Klamath Falls, and four nieces and nephews, including Mrs. John Hughes of Salem.
