OBITUARY: 

GLEESON--At his home on the Garden road, Jan. 14, Mathew W. Gleeson, at the age of 72 years; husband of Mrs. Elvira Gleeson, father of Mrs. Fances Karn of Parma, Idaho; Miner Gleason of Salem, Annie Gleeson, Salem; Myra Gleeson, Salem. Member of Fraternal Aid society, Masonic Pacific lodge No. 50, Salem; I.O.O.F. lodge of Yates Center, Kansas. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Jan 18, at 2 p.m. from the Rigdon mortuary. Interment will be in the IOOF cemetery.
