OBITUARY: 
Former Salem Man Dies. 
Mrs. Willia Kaiser received word yesterday that Charles Ford, formerly of Salem, died Saturday at Shipherd Springs, Wash., where he had gone for the benefit of his health. 
The funeral will be held in this city either Monday or Tuesday. Mr. Ford sold his farm near the fair grounds about nine months ago. Several weeks ago he was in Salem visiting friends and seemed in fairly good health. He has a brother, Charles Ford of this city.

Charles Ford Buried. 
The funeral of Charles Ford, formerly of this city, who died at Shipherd Springs, Wash., on Saturday, December 20, was held Sunday from the 1 o'clock Oregon Electric train in this city. Rev. P. S. Knight officated and the interment took place in the Ford vault in the I. O.O. F. cemetery. 
The pall bearers were old friends of the deceased and included: D. D. Olmstead, M. E. Pogue, T. K. Ford, R. E. Lee Steiner, Joe Kaiser and George Patterson.
