OBITUARY: 
Harry J. Carter, late resident of 551 Rosemont st., West Salem; September 24.  Surviving are the wife, Elizabeth M. Carter, West Salem; one son, Harold S. Carter, Salt Lake City, Utah; two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Lindgren, Camas, Wash., and Mrs. Herma Pfiester, San Fernando, Calif.  Services will be held Friday, September 27, at 1:30 p.m. at the Clough - Barrick Chapel, the Rev. O. I. Jones officiating.  Interment will be in the IOOF cemetery.
