Johns, female, widowed, b. 3 Jan 1852 in Springfield, Illinois, d. 3 May 1923 in Marion Co., Oregon (2 Miles south of Salem - Riverside Drive) at the age of 71 y's 4 m's, name of father not given (b. England), maiden name of mother Sarah Sanderson, interment 5 May 1923, undertaker Rigdon, informant not listed.
OBITUARY: 
Mrs. Lucy A. Johns, 71 years of age, died May 3 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. May Van Laamen, who lives a short distance south of Salem. Other surviving children are Mrs. Minnie LaDue of California and Willia Gadwa of Pendleton. Funeral services will be held from the Rigdon mortuary Saturday afternoon, May 5, at 2 oÂ’clock. Interment in IOOF cemetery.
