BIOGRAPHICAL:
Note from Betty Kurtz: Frances Ann Lane Godfrey was the mother of James Godfrey, whose son, Alvin (Frances's grandson) is buried in the same plot. Frances Ann also had a son named Clarence Jefferson. Frances Ann was married briefly to a Mr. Marvin before she died.

OBITUARY: 
MRS. FRANCES GODFREY EXPIRES SUDDENLY. 
Mrs. Frances A. Godfrey, mother of J. E. Godfrey, passed away at the home of her son on North Fourteenth street in this city at a few minutes after 1 o'clock this morning, death being due to heart failure. Mrs. Godfrey, who was aged 83 years, had been well and strong up to Monday morning of this week when she was taken ill. Besides her son, she leaves one daughter, Mrs. Maude Bowman of Portland, of her immediate family to mourn her sudden demise.
