OBITUARY: 
MRS MABEL PRENTISS
SALEM (Special) - Mrs. Mabel Elizabeth Prentiss, 53, teacher in the North Salem high school, died late Tuesday in a Salem hospital of a brain hemorrhage. She was taken to the hospital Monday after collapsing at the school.
She graduated from the old Salem high school and had been active in educational circles for many years. Mrs. Prentiss was born in Portland and was a resident of Salem since 1930. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church.
Surviving are her widower, Robert W. Prentiss, Salem; mother, Mrs. A. F. Marcus, Salem; son, Earl W. Prentiss, Valsetz, and a daughter, Mrs. William Kaer Jr., Portland.
Services will be Saturday in the Clough-Barrick chapel.
