MONEY FOR THE COUNTY
A check for $36 was received by County Clerk Ehlen yesterday from the US treasury department. The money comes as payment of a pension due Edward W. Adams, a veteran, who died at the county poor farm a few months ago, and will go into the Marion county treasury. When Adams applied for admittance to the institution he assigned his claim for a pension, to the county and Mr. Ehlen, through continued correspondence, succeeded in sercuring its payment.
