OBITUARY: 

George Abner Read of Fort Klamath, Wash., at Crater Lake National park, Oct. 3, aged 52 years.
The remains were brought to this city for burial yesterday morning. The funeral services were held at Rigdon and Richardson's chapel at 10:30 by Rev. P. S. Knight. The burial took place in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Deceased was a brother of J. H. Read of Salem.
