Judson, over 21 & Mariettie Dufield, over 18, md 26 Sep 1878 at house of Paul Crandall; P. M. Starr, M. G. Wit: Paul Crandall & John A. McIntire. Aff. S. W. Wanless #2195 pg 477; 1880 OR Census - L. B. Judson, age 41, occupation farmer, b. Conn., is enumerated with wife M. A., age 21, b. Iowa, along with L. M., female, age 19, b. Oregon, Ada, age 12 b. Oregon, Allice, age 10, b. Oregon, Lena M., age 5, b. Oregon, and Bertha M. age 8 months, b. Oregon; "Ladd & Bush Quarterly" indicates that he brought goods from San Francisco in 1849. Marion County Probate File #1852: Leonard B. Judson. Testate, will dated 23 June 1898. Died Feb. 8, 1899 and John A. McIntire, son-in-law appointed Executor on 21 Feb. 1899. Heirs: Marietta A. Judson, wife age 39; Ida H. Judson, daughter and youngest child, age 9, both of Marion Co.; Mary A. McIntire, daughter age 42, of Warrenton, Oregon; Lily M. Parker, daughter age 38, of Salem (deceased by 21 Sept 1899); Alice M. Towle, daughter age 30, of Vancouver, Washington; Ada M. Judson, daughter age 35 of Mercer, Utah (surname Woodruff in Feb. 1899).

OBITUARY: 
At his farm home, nine miles south of Salem, at 5:15 a.m., February 8, 1899, of la grippe, Mr. Leonard B. Judson. The funeral cortege will leave the residence at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 10, 1899, and will go thence to the I.O.O.F. cemetery, where his remains will be interred in the family lot. Mr. Judson was 67 years old. He came to Oregon in June, 1840, as a boy, his father being Rev. L. H. Judson, one of the missionaries from New England, who came to Astoria on the ship Lausanne. Capital Journal 8 February 1899 1:4.
