OBITUARY: BEATTY--At the family home, 692 South Capitol street, Thursday evening, March 4, 1909, Mrs. Sarah Beatty, aged 68 years, after a long illness. Deceased had been a resident of Oregon for the past 18 years, and leaves a wide circle of friends, She was the widow of Hamilton Beatty, who preceded her to the grave three years ago. She is survived by her daughter, Miss Mattie Beatty, of this city, and a son, Harry W. Beatty, of Santa Barbara, California, who has been at his mother's bedside for the past two months. No arrangements have been made for the funeral.

Beatty Funeral Sunday
The funeral of Mrs. Hamilton Beatty will be held from the family home, 592 S. Capital street, at 2:30 o'clock p.,m. Sunday, Rev. Henry T. Babcock, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiating. Interment will be made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
