OBITUARY:
DIED -- At a local hospital, Saturday, July 17, Marie Elizabeth Adams at the age of 83 years. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. W. L. Hinkle, Mrs. D. M. Brauch, and Miss Irene Adams, of Portland; by a niece, Mrs. F. O. Legge of Salem, and another niece, Mrs. E. B. Lockhart of Portland, and a nephew, Frank Merideth of Salem. Funeral services will be held at the Webb funeral parlors on Monday, at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in the IOOF cemetery.
