Charles John Nadvornik

Feb. 6, 1908 - Oct. 27, 1991

Charles John Nadvornik, 83, died Sunday.

A native of Dickinson, N.D., he moved to Oregon and graduated from Springfield High School. In 1928 he moved to the Salem-Keizer area. He served in the Army during World War II.

He married Myrtle L. Richardson on Sept 3, 1938, in Seattle; she died in 1989.

He was a retired presser for a dry cleaning company.

 His hobbies were playing the violin and collecting and making Indian arrowheads.

He is survived by his sister, Mildred Kudrna of Hillsboro.

No services will be held. Private interment will be at Pioneer Cemetery, Salem.

Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of the Willamette Valley. Arrangements are by Rigdon-Ransom mortuary, Salem.
