OBITUARY: 
S. E. FOSTER DIES; HERE SIXTY YEARS Samuel Edgar Foster, a Salem resident for over 60 years, died last night at the age of 67. He was born in Iowa, March 4, 1873 and came to Salem with his parents at the age of 5. His residence was 567 North Summer street. Survivors are sisters, Mrs. D. C. Davenport of Lebanon and Mrs. Herbert Hauser of Spokane; brother Warnick R. Foster of Salem and sister-in law, Mrs. Florence Foster of Salem. Announcement of funeral arrangements will be made later by the W. T. Rigdon Co. Oregon Statesman 16 Mar 1940.
