IOOF - Mrs. McGilchrist, died at Rosedale, Oregon of heart trouble, was the wife of R. McGilchrist.
NOTE - husband Robert McGilchirst remarried in 1900 to Belle Forguhar- both Robert and Belle are buried in Belcrest - Robert, who died in 1951, may have been moved there after original burial in Pioneer. 
According to 1900 Marion Co. census records, Robert immigrated to the US in 1891 from Scotland. Could not find any record in the 1895 Marion County census to determine the 1st Mrs. McGilchrist's name - also could not find her in any Marion Co. marriage records. Information from Thomas McGilchrist, states he has a copy of the marriage certificate of Annie and Robert, Dec. 29, 1890.

OBITUARY: 
In Salem, Oregon on Saturday, May 27, 1899, at 4 a.m. Mrs. McGilchrist, of Rosedale, of heart disease. The deceased leaves a husband and four small children to mourn her demise. She has long been a sufferer from heart trouble, and was brought to Salem several weeks ago, in the hope of securing relief, but all efforts seemed hopeless, and she passed away yesterday morning as indicated above. The funeral will be held tomorrow.
