OBITUARY: BIESEN -- At the insane asylum farm, near this city, on Sunday, March 3, 1895, George A. Biesen, aged about 65 years. Deceased was for a number of years a resident of Grant county, but for several months past he has been the cook at the above named state institution. He was a quiet, unobtrusive man, careful and conscientious in the discharge of his duties, and a favorite with those who knew him best. He leaves a wife, the sister of Hon. Phil. Metschan, state treasurer, and three children. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon, Rev. Laurence Sinclair of the Episcopal church officiating, his body finding its last resting place in the Odd Fellow' Rural cemetery.
